Although we might not return back to school this semester, you can always look forward to the next school year. Excluding the school work and stresses of studying, you can take part in different clubs to release you of your stress. Maybe, you didn’t join that many clubs last year but don’t worry we got a list of clubs you could try to join at your school.
1. DECA
Maybe you’ve already heard of DECA, the infamous business club. DECA is an extremely fun club you should join if you’re into business, you get to do practice cases, and meet new people. Plus next year ICDC is held at Anaheim, CA, where Disneyland is located. The only downside is that it takes a lot of effort to actually get to ICDC; however, it’s totally worth it!
2. HOSA
Here is another club that is more known. HOSA is like DECA except focused on Health and Life Sciences rather than Business. You get to do all these different case studies that replicate the feeling of an actual case and meet new people!
3. JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT
Although this is not exactly a club nor something you can join at school, it’s an extracurricular you should join. This EC gives you a chance to run your own business with fellow high school students for a few months. Furthermore, there are chances to win and be granted awards and scholarships.
4. ROBOTIC/COMPUTER SCIENCE CLUB
Robotics and Computer Science are both things that are becoming more prominent in society as technology gets better and better. It’d be cool to learn to code and just the fundamentals of robotics for the future.
5. Film Club.
The film club is a great club to be part of, whether it be the cinematography aspect or sharing different types of films with one other. Furthermore, it’s a great club to just let loose and meet new people that share the same interests with you.
These are just some of the clubs that caught my attention; however, be sure to go around and look for more.
